Evan Angstmann brings real frontcourt pop for Defiance
In the 2025-26 season, Evan Angstmann has been a productive 6'7" sophomore forward for Defiance, averaging 9.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game while flashing some perimeter touch for a big with 26.3% shooting from three and an 85.7% free-throw mark.[7] He already has a signature ceiling-raiser on his résumé: in the 2025-26 season, he scored 39 points with 11 made threes against Washington Adventist and also posted a 20-rebound, 4-block game that helped earn him WHAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.[5] He was also named All-WHAC second team, which is a strong signal that he’s more than just a stat-sheet filler—he’s a tough, high-impact forward who can stretch the floor and swing games on both ends.[5]
