Johnathan Hall is a rising, versatile Utah linebacker with real playmaking juice
In the 2025 season, Johnathan Hall started all 13 games for Utah, led the team with 67 tackles, added 6.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, an interception, five passes defended, and 10.5 third-down stops, earning All-Big 12 honorable mention. He’s a strong fit if you want a defensive chess piece: Hall was recruited as a safety, then smoothly moved to linebacker, and that hybrid background shows up in his coverage ability and downhill range. At 6-foot-1 and 226 pounds, he brings speed, toughness, and enough splash-play production to matter on all three downs.
