Tyrone Legette brings veteran DB depth and senior-season savvy to SLU
In the 2023 season, Tyrone Legette was a senior defensive back for Southeastern Louisiana at 5-10, 170, with game experience that made him a steady piece in the Lions’ secondary rather than just a headline grabber[2][4]. His value is in experience, positional versatility, and reliability—traits that fit a coach who wants a DB who understands leverage, communication, and the little things that keep a defense clean[2][4]. He’s more of a glue guy than a flash machine, which can be exactly what a team needs when the lights get loud.
