experienced DB with Marshall roots and a developmental upside
McTier is a Marshall defensive back with a background that shows up more in recruiting/profile listings than in public stat-sheet stardom, which makes him a classic evaluation play: worth caring about for his defensive-back experience, special-teams potential, and fit in a program that values competitive, coachable secondary depth. Publicly available sources identify him as a DB/CB prospect from Friendship Collegiate Academy and a Marshall rostered defender, but there is limited recent production data available in the provided results, so the best read is that he’s a depth-and-development candidate whose value likely comes from reliability, technique, and room to grow rather than headline-grabbing numbers.
