Elvis Gallegos brings veteran TCU pedigree, but he’s not listed as an active 2026 safety contributor
Gallegos is a former TCU safety who played in 45 games and finished second on the team in tackles in 2004 with 56, but current 2026 depth-chart sources do not list him as an active Horned Frogs defensive back. His real value is his long TCU connection and football IQ rather than current on-field production, so he’s not a current roster fit as a player. If you’re tracking TCU’s present safeties, the spotlight belongs elsewhere.
