Barry Tate brings Campbell a quick, productive return threat with WR upside
Barry Tate is a freshman wide receiver at Campbell whose most immediate value is on special teams: in the 2024 season he played in six games and returned five kickoffs for 93 yards, including a season-long 30-yarder, while also recording special teams tackles. Campbell’s roster bio says he was a MaxPreps All-American in high school and produced nearly 3,000 receiving yards with 31 touchdowns as a junior/senior, which points to real playmaking upside. He looks like a useful fit for teams that want speed, toughness, and hidden-yardage impact now, with receiver development still on the table.[1][7]
