Morones brings quick-hands, true-point-guard energy to TCU
In the 2007-08 season, Martiese Morones gave TCU a compact, pass-first guard with real burst: over 41 career games at TCU, he averaged 0.8 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists, while his freshman year role grew from 3.8 minutes to 8.5 minutes as a sophomore.[1][4] His calling card was speed, ball-handling and competitiveness—TCU described him as a "lightning quick left-hander" and a "very skilled ball handler," traits that make him the kind of guard coaches trust to organize a group and raise the tempo.[2]
