undersized DB with next-level competitive juice
Darius Mouton is a 5-foot-9, 175-pound defensive back for Sam Houston, and his profile suggests a quick, physical coverage piece rather than a size-based enforcer[1]. The available team and recruiting pages do not show current 2026 individual stat production, but the fit indicators are clear: he projects as a scrappy, assignment-sound DB whose value comes from speed, leverage, and toughness in space[1][2][3]. If your team wants a relentless, competitive defender who can survive in a pressure-filled secondary, Mouton is worth a look; if you need a towering press corner, this is probably not your guy[1].
