Andrew Wiggins is giving NC State a real lefty bat with pop, speed, and enough versatility to force the issue
In the 2026 season, Andrew Wiggins hit .290 with a .449 on-base percentage, .580 slugging percentage, 6 home runs, 22 RBIs, and 8-for-8 stolen bases across 39 games for NC State. He’s a 6-foot-2, 225-pound left-handed hitter who brings legit power-speed juice, has flashed a knack for big moments off the bench, and has even earned starts in right field as his bat made a stronger case than the glove. The appeal is clear: if you want an athletic corner outfielder with upside and edge, he fits.
