Ben Bruni is a tone-setting, tackle-eating linebacker with a proven ball-hawking edge
In his Saint Francis career, Ben Bruni posted 231 tackles, 8.5 sacks, and 4 fumble recoveries, and in the 2018 season he led the team with 89 tackles while earning second-team All-NEC honors. The big differentiator: he wasn’t just a volume tackler — he created turnovers, played with a motor that coaches clearly trusted, and built a résumé that translated into linebacker coaching credibility after graduation. If your defense wants a physical, instinctive, hard-nosed presence who understands the position from the inside out, Bruni looks like the kind of player who fits that mold nicely.
