veteran ballhawk with proven tackling juice
Mike Crutcher is a seasoned Missouri State safety whose calling card has long been production, range, and disruptive instincts. In the 2011 season, he started all 11 games and piled up 83 total tackles, including 45 solo stops, and in the 2012 season he again started every game while finishing fourth on the team with 6.09 tackles per game. He’s the kind of defender who can stabilize the back end, bring downhill physicality, and flash playmaking upside; the main check is durability, since his 2013 season was impacted by injury and shoulder surgery. If you want experience and toughness, he fits the profile.
