Holy Cross’ Dominant Senior Center with Elite Scoring & Rebounding
Patrick Whearty, the 6-9, 245-lb senior center for Holy Cross, is the Patriot League’s 2003 Player of the Year, leading his team in scoring (12.1 ppg) and rebounding (6.6 rpg) while delivering high-intensity, physical play that intimidates opponents. Known for his relentless motor, basketball IQ, and clutch performances—like his 17-point, 8-rebound game against Lehigh—he’s not just a stat leader but a personality who elevates team morale. Though he graduated in 2003 and played internationally afterward, his college legacy as a two-way force makes him a perfect fit for teams needing a dominant, reliable interior presence with leadership and grit.
