Ball State’s Davyd Jones: depth-chart name, but current impact is hard to verify
Davyd Jones is listed on Ball State’s football roster as a linebacker, but the most recent publicly available team coverage and roster updates spotlight other transfers and returners in the 2026 linebacker rotation, not a detailed on-field profile for Jones. That means his current fit looks more like a developmental or depth piece than a proven headline defender right now. If your team wants an experienced, clearly documented producer, the available public trail is thin here; if you value upside and roster flexibility, Jones is still a name worth monitoring.
