Former Auburn CB Jonathon Mincy built a pro career on steady coverage and toughness
Jonathon Mincy Sr. is a former Auburn cornerback who was a well-regarded recruit out of Decatur, ranked by ESPN/Scouts, Inc. and as high as No. 38 nationally at cornerback, which points to early high-level instincts and movement skills.[6][1] After Auburn, he carved out a professional defensive-back career, including CFL production that shows he translated discipline and reliability to the next level.[2][3] For a team, his profile suggests a competitive, technically sound cover man rather than a pure speed-only prospect, with the kind of consistency coaches value when they want a dependable defensive back.[2][6]
