a disruptive CCSU defensive lineman with proven game snaps
Rich Royster is listed as a 6-foot-3, 260-pound defensive lineman from Ossining, N.Y., and in the 2009 season he appeared in seven games for Central Connecticut State, showing he could earn on-field trust in a rotation role. His value is the classic interior/edge-decline mix for a DE prospect: size, length, and experience in live game action, plus the kind of blue-collar profile CCSU has traditionally leaned on. The biggest caution is that the available public trail is limited and dated, so current production, injuries, and recent rankings are not verifiable here.
