Legendary GVSU Lakers Center and Michigan Rebounding Pioneer
Kim Hansen, a Hall of Famer from Grand Valley State University (class of 1980), dominated women's college basketball by scoring 1,971 points and grabbing 1,382 rebounds—more than any woman in Michigan history at the time—while setting 21 school records as a commanding center. Her relentless intensity and record-breaking prowess made her a transformative force; post-college, she transitioned seamlessly into successful coaching at Division I, III, and high school levels. A proven winner with elite rebounding instincts, she'd be an ideal veteran big for any team seeking leadership and physicality.
