Chris Blackshear brings depth and physicality to CCSU’s secondary
Chris Blackshear profiles as a defense-first **DB** who can help Central Connecticut State with reliability, toughness, and back-end versatility rather than flashy box-score production. The most useful context here is that publicly available team materials do not show him as a headline stat leader, which usually points to a role built on assignment discipline, special-teams value, and matchup flexibility—traits coaches tend to trust. For a team looking for a steady, competitive defensive back who can fit multiple looks and contribute in a blue-collar system, he is the kind of addition worth watching.
