veteran Butler defensive back with old-school physicality
Ryan Schmidtz is a Butler football defensive back whose profile points to experience, toughness, and versatility in the secondary. The available Butler roster history shows him as a senior DB for the Bulldogs, but current-season stat detail and recent performance data were not available in the source set, so the safest read is that he’s valued more for veteran presence and reliability than flashy box-score production. If your team needs a steady, physical defensive back who understands positioning and plays with a hard-nosed edge, he’s the kind of fit that can quietly elevate a room.
