Veteran FCS Safety with Tackling Grit and Ball Skills
Jaylen Floyd, a graduate student safety for the Western Carolina Catamounts, logged 12 tackles (8 solo, 4 TFL) across 7 games with 3 starts in the 2022 season, showcasing his run-stopping intensity after transferring from Lehigh where he notched a team-high 6 pass breakups in 2019. His differentiator is reliable veteran savvy and physicality against the run, ideal for depth at safety on teams needing blue-collar defenders without injury red flags. A solid mid-major fit for FCS or G5 programs seeking low-risk hustle.
