compact guard who brought steady bench pop and defensive hustle to SEMO
In the 2022-23 season, Tevin Gowins gave Southeast Missouri State a spark off the bench: 22 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals across 18 games, while shooting 47.1% from the field and 71.4% from three on limited attempts. The headline skill is simple—he’s a tough, smart, low-mistake guard who competes hard and can hit open shots, with enough feel to create small advantages. At 5-foot-9, his fit is about pace, pressure, and poise rather than size, so he profiles best as an energy guard who raises intensity and IQ.
