veteran A&T linebacker with proven ball-finding instincts
Marsay Winder has been on the North Carolina A&T radar as a disruptive linebacker, with archived game logs showing he consistently shows up near the ball and can pile up tackles when the action comes his way. In the 2001 season, one box score listed him with 8 total tackles and 1.0 tackle for loss, which points to a defender who can finish plays behind the line, not just clean them up. He looks like the kind of throwback, high-effort front-seven piece coaches love for toughness, physicality, and reliability.
