Duquesne’s dependable long-snap anchor with veteran polish
Brent Calvin is the kind of specialist coaches love: a steady long snapper with real program familiarity, having taken over snapping duties for Duquesne and bringing a background on both the offensive and defensive lines. Listed by Duquesne as a 2011 recruit from Pine-Richland and also profiled by ESPN as the Dukes’ long snapper, his value is in consistency, versatility, and low-drama reliability rather than flashy stats. If your team wants a trusted specialist who fits the hidden-yards game and handles pressure jobs cleanly, Calvin is exactly the sort of quietly useful piece that can make special teams hum.
