Brendan Fowler is a Duke legend for **lacrosse**, but there’s no verified current football profile
Publicly available sources identify Brendan Fowler as a former Duke **men’s lacrosse** standout—not a current Duke football linebacker—and note he won ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2013 while ranking third nationally in faceoff percentage, which points to elite competitiveness, toughness, and high-leverage impact rather than box-score flash.[1][7] If you’re evaluating him as a football fit, the available record does **not** support a current Duke Blue Devils LB profile, so any team decision should be based on verified football film and roster data, not this name alone.[1][7]
