Toledo Rockets DB with Special Teams Spark from 2011
Joseph Missler, a defensive back for the Toledo Rockets, earned National Special Teams Player of the Week honors from the College Football Performance Awards in 2011 for his standout performance against New Hampshire, showcasing elite coverage instincts and playmaking ability as a 5-foot DB. Transitioning from high school stardom as Whitmer's all-district QB in 2009, his versatility, toughness, and special teams reliability make him a hidden gem for teams needing depth and intensity—perfect fit for MAC contenders valuing hustle over size.
