the steady, high-IQ UNCW guard who delivered all-around production
Suggs was a winning-type guard for UNCW: in the 2019-20 season, she averaged 12.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 34.7 minutes, and 53 steals while starting 29 of 30 games, and she was named CAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year[1][2]. What makes her interesting goes beyond the box score—she paired shot-making with toughness, heavy minutes, and reliable defense, and her leadership showed up in recognition as a three-time captain and a 1,000-point scorer[2][4]. If your team wants a composed two-way guard with brains, grit, and a proven résumé, she checks a lot of boxes[1][2].
