Matt Jenner brings dual-threat steadiness and academic edge to CCSU’s QB room
Matt Jenner has shown he can manage a college offense with real efficiency, posting 1,009 passing yards, 9 passing touchdowns, and 136 rushing yards in the 2023 season while also earning NEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors, which says plenty about his discipline and football IQ. The knock? He’s not a pure gunslinger, and the interception total in 2023 shows there’s still room for cleaner decision-making. Still, if you want a composed quarterback who competes, protects the program’s culture, and can hurt defenses with his legs, Jenner is a pretty interesting fit.
