Marcus Brown is a veteran VMI corner with proven tackling instincts
Marcus Brown’s value is his physical, reliable presence at cornerback: VMI’s roster lists him as a **6-foot, 180-pound senior** defensive back, and in the 2007 season he ranked **sixth on the team with 47 tackles** (24 solo), showing he can support the run and stay active near the ball.[6] The main differentiator is his willingness to play like an extra defender rather than a pure cover-only corner, which can fit a team that wants toughness, assignment discipline, and a DB who shows up in the box.[6]
