physical Elon DB with veteran-grade grit, but limited public production
Hatchel Linens is a defensive back for Elon whose profile points more to toughness and depth value than splashy stat-sheet impact. Publicly available team and media notes show he was a DB for Elon in the 2010s, with reports of a broken pinky and hand fracture in 2014 after a fight, and coverage noted he had yet to appear in a game at that time. That makes him an intriguing “trust the tape, not the box score” type: a player whose appeal would hinge on practice intensity, physicality, and reliability in the room rather than visible production.
