Marqel McCoy brings rare size and two-way athleticism to UC Davis
Marqel McCoy is a long, versatile athlete whose background at both defensive back and tight end hints at real football intelligence and physical adaptability, and his early UC Davis profile listed him at 6-3 and 205-218 pounds. He was originally a defensive back, later moved to tight end, and was noted as a multi-sport standout with strong academics and a reputation for being well-rounded and coachable. That kind of athletic profile can fit a team that values matchup flexibility and toughness, though current season stat production is not clearly available in the sources here.
