Jae'Lon Oglesby brings proven versatility and return-game juice to SFA
Jae'Lon Oglesby is a multi-skill back with legit all-purpose value: at Memphis, he was the team’s top true freshman receiver with 20 catches for 167 yards and a touchdown, plus 25 kick returns for 588 yards and 814 all-purpose yards overall in the season reported by SFA. He’s the kind of player who can stress a defense with speed, space skills, and special-teams impact rather than just pile up carries. The appeal is obvious: a compact, versatile weapon with explosive-return pedigree and four-star recruiting traits, though his biggest value is fit-driven—best for a system that wants playmakers, not just a pure between-the-tackles runner.
