Jeff Ryan’s Youngstown State Legacy: Winning QB with Late-Game Poise
Jeff Ryan is a Youngstown State quarterback legacy worth knowing because his profile is built on winning, durability, and comeback ability: he started 42 games, went 29-13 as a starter, and engineered 15 comeback wins for the Penguins in his career. That kind of production suggests a quarterback who handled pressure well and gave his team a real chance late, which is exactly the kind of intangible edge coaches value beyond raw stats. If you want a QB who brought toughness, leadership, and clutch decision-making, Ryan fits that mold.
