Erik Talton brings steady guard minutes, but the offensive ceiling looks modest
In the 2020-21 season at Western Illinois, Erik Talton was a 6-foot-1 guard who averaged 2.3 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.1 assists per game while shooting 34.6% from the field, which points to a low-usage, role-specific backcourt piece rather than a featured scorer[1][3]. His profile suggests a compact, experienced guard who can handle spot minutes, but the available stat line does not show high-level playmaking or shot creation; that makes him a fit only if a team wants depth, structure and defensive energy over offense-first upside[1][3].
