Xavier McIntyre brings undersized, high-motor linebacker versatility to Houston Christian
McIntyre is the kind of defender you notice because he plays bigger than his frame, a trait Houston Christian highlighted in a profile noting he has “always been the smallest player on the football field” but never backed away from contact. He has recent game experience and has shown he can contribute in rotation, but his fit is most compelling as a relentless, scrappy, instinct-driven linebacker/safety-type who can chase, tackle, and add energy to a defense rather than simply pile up stats. That makes him a useful depth piece for a team valuing toughness, effort, and adaptability.
