veteran Montana edge presence with old-school toughness
A senior defensive end for Montana in the 2002 season, Ike Mincy brought veteran experience and a rugged, physical profile to the Grizzlies’ front, the kind of player coaches trust for effort, edge-setting, and locker-room steadiness rather than flashy stat lines.[5][8] His roster listing and season record book show him as a deep-career contributor on a Montana defense that valued reliability and toughness, making him a fit for teams that need disciplined trench play and dependable practice-to-game consistency.[5][8]
