veteran Redbird safety with proven ball-hawking upside
Edgar Biddles looks like a dependable Illinois State safety with a track record of playmaking in coverage, highlighted by 3 pass breakups and 7 total tackles in a 1999 game note for the Redbirds[1]. The big appeal is the ball skills and back-end awareness that matter on Sundays?more specifically, the kind of safety who can close throwing windows and give a defense some attitude. There is not enough recent public stat data here to verify his 2026 form, but the profile suggests a defensive back whose value goes beyond box-score numbers: instincts, range, and timing.
