Grambling State’s veteran power back still brings the boom
In the 2024 season, Dedrick Talbert led Grambling State’s returning rushing group with 54 carries for 208 yards and 4 touchdowns, and his coaches described him as the room’s “leader” and “banger.” He’s a 5-foot-11, 220-pound senior/graduate back with a physical downhill style, experience dating back to 2019, and a track record of producing in short-yardage and goal-line spots. If a team wants a tough, seasoned runner who sets the tone and gives real veteran presence, Talbert looks like a fit.
