Deep-bench Monmouth guard still searching for a breakout
In the 2024-25 season, Monmouth guard Demitry Courtney was a low-usage reserve who produced 0.4 points, 0.3 assists, and 0.1 rebounds per game in 7 appearances, with limited shooting volume and a small minutes role. The upside case is mostly developmental: he’s a depth piece who can still grow into a steadier two-way guard, but right now the on-court résumé is thin. If you need immediate backcourt production, he’s not that guy yet; if you’re hunting a project with room to improve, there’s at least a flutter of intrigue.
