Wall HS Sophomore RB Phenom, No Alcorn State Connection Found
No records exist for Gunnar Garza as an OL on the Alcorn State Braves roster or in college football; instead, Gunner Garza, a Class of 2028 sophomore at Wall High School (TX), has exploded in the 2025-26 season with 297 rushing yards on 14 carries (21.2 YPC), 3 TDs, and 37.1 yards per game—ranking top-10 in 3A-2 Region I District 4 receiving yards (140). His elite burst and vision make him a differentiator for smaller programs, but he's raw with limited reps; a high-upside recruit worth watching for teams needing dynamic backs, injury-free so far.
