Corey McLaurin brings ball-hawking upside to Alcorn State’s secondary
Corey McLaurin is a DB for Alcorn State whose value shows up in the takeaway column: ESPN lists him with 1 interception and 0 solo tackles, suggesting a play-making role rather than a heavy-volume tackler in the current season[1]. That fits a defensive back who can change a game with range and instincts, and fan coverage points to explosive athleticism as a key differentiator[2]. If a team wants a secondary piece with flash-play potential and special-teams juice, McLaurin is worth a hard look[1][2].
