Wesley Morgan brings old-school size and veteran presence to Mississippi State
Wesley Morgan is a 7-foot-2, redshirt senior center for Mississippi State who has long been valued more for size, screening, and interior presence than for big scoring numbers. In the 2005-06 season, he averaged 4.5 points and 5.3 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game, while shooting 56% from the field and serving as a captain[1][2]. He fits as a rugged, low-usage big who can anchor the paint, absorb contact, and add mature leadership—useful if a team wants toughness and rim size over offensive flash[1][2].
