In the 2025-26 season, Sara Hameed emerged as a dependable guard for UHSP, starting 21 of 29 games and averaging 7.8 points, 3.8 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game in conference play while playing more than 25 minutes a night.[2] Her value is less about raw scoring and more about control: she looks like a true floor general who can organize an offense, create for teammates, and make active defensive plays, which makes her a fit for teams needing composure, pace management, and consistent backcourt effort.[2]
