Carson Hepworth brings speed, gap pop, and versatility to the Privateers
In the 2026 season, Carson Hepworth gives New Orleans a sneaky-useful outfield presence: a 6-foot-2 senior transfer from Louisiana who earned Defensive Player of the Year honors at Pensacola State in 2024 and has chipped in as a multi-tool player with stolen bases, extra-base hits, and run-producing contact. His value goes beyond the box score—he looks like a high-energy defender with enough athleticism to impact the game on the bases and enough competitive edge to fit a team that wants grit, range, and reliability in the lineup.
