App State’s Rylee Critcher: reliable specialist with proven clutch value
Rylee Critcher is best known as a dependable Appalachian State special-teams contributor, handling punting duties and holding on kicks while providing roster flexibility for the Mountaineers.[4][5] His differentiator is trust: he has been used in high-leverage kicking situations, including a game-winning 39-yard field goal in a 31-29 win, which points to composure under pressure rather than just raw numbers.[2][4] For a team that values consistency, experience, and a specialist who can stay steady in big moments, Critcher is the kind of low-drama, high-reliability fit worth caring about.[1][4]
