Marshall's Reliable Trench Warrior and Academic Standout
Alex Salguero, a 6-3, 310-pound offensive guard from Bradenton, FL, wrapped up his Marshall Thundering Herd career as a redshirt senior in 2021, playing in all 13 games that year as a key special teams contributor and reserve lineman while earning 2022 Conference USA Academic Medalist honors with a 3.75+ GPA. A first-team All-State high school selection in Florida's competitive 7A class, his physicality, durability across 20+ college games, and blue-collar intensity make him a prototypical mid-major anchor—perfect for teams seeking gritty, high-motor depth without the prima donna vibes.
