veteran-legit kicker with LSU pedigree and local poise
Sciambra is a former LSU placekicker and Baton Rouge Catholic product who brings a mature, technically grounded special-teams profile to Nicholls, with a reputation built more on reliability and football IQ than flash. His background suggests a calm, polished specialist who can handle pressure and fit a program that values consistency and accountability. Current season-by-season public stat detail is limited here, but his standout differentiator is experience: he’s been around high-level college football long enough to understand game-day margins, which makes him the kind of kicker coaches trust when every point matters.
