Auburn’s versatile, high-motor forward who does a little bit of everything
In the 2024-25 season, Chaney Johnson was a steady two-way glue piece for Auburn, playing all 38 games and averaging 9.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.9 blocks while earning NABC All-Southeast District Second Team honors[1][2]. At 6-foot-7 and 225 pounds, he brings physicality, rebounding, rim protection and enough skill to finish, space the floor and survive in multiple lineup looks[1][9]. He’s the kind of tough, reliable forward coaches love because he impacts winning without needing the ball to be the main character[5].
