a physical, space-capable linebacker with proven tackle production
Jaleel Laguins has a strong linebacker résumé from Samford and Georgia, with ESPN listing him as a Samford linebacker and Samford’s 2019 bio showing 59 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sack in the 2019 season.[1][2] His differentiators are toughness, range, and versatility: Georgia recruiting coverage described him as explosive, good in space, and able to help off the edge, which points to a defender who can chase, finish, and create pressure rather than just soak up blocks.[5] If you want a back-seven player with proven production and multi-role potential, he’s worth a look.[1][2][5]
