Aliyah Sabree’s YSU legacy is bigger than the box score
Aliyah Sabree is listed in Youngstown State women’s basketball records from 2002-03 through 2005-06, including a 2004-05 box score that shows a classic low-minute, high-efficiency guard profile and a steal in limited action. Her differentiator isn’t just stats—it’s the rare combo of scholarship-athlete discipline, academic achievement, and competitive edge that later carried her to law school and the bench, suggesting the toughness, poise, and coachability teams love in a guard.
