Darren Branch brings veteran interior-line toughness to UNI
Darren Branch is a Northern Iowa defensive tackle with proven game action and a clear value add: interior depth that showed up in production, including a six-tackle game and a five-tackle road effort in 2011. His profile suggests a hard-nosed, assignment-sound lineman rather than a flashy stat machine, which can matter a lot on a defensive front built on gap control and consistency. If you want a steady DL presence who can handle physical snaps and contribute against the run, Branch is the kind of player worth tracking.
