CSUN Matadors' 6'6" RHP Dominates with 43 Ks in 2025, 5.10 ERA, and Elite Intensity
Zach Johnson, the 6'6" right-handed pitcher for Cal State Northridge, is a data-driven standout who recorded 43 strikeouts and a 5.10 ERA over 42.1 innings in the 2025 season at Linfield (DIII) before joining CSUN. His differentiator is elite intensity and a 6'6" frame that creates steep pitch angles, making him a perfect fit for teams needing a high-impact starter. With no reported injury history and a personality described as fiercely competitive, Johnson brings more than stats—he delivers consistent pressure and reliability.
